Accessibility statement
We are finalising this page. It will be reviewed by our legal adviser.
This page is in English. If you need help understanding it or want it in another format, contact privacy@equiva.io.
This statement applies to equiva.io and the Equiva platform, provided by Equiva Ltd.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use Equiva. On the parts we have tested, you should be able to:
- use the public website with a keyboard alone, starting with a “skip to main content” link — tested by script and in the browser
- use typed alternatives for every voice feature: you can type to Eva, type quiz and assessment answers, and read on-screen text instead of listening — tested by script and in the browser
- zoom to 400% without the text spilling off the screen — public website, tested
- listen to lessons read aloud, and answer by speaking, typing or tapping — audio starts only when you press play, with a clear stop button
- talk with Eva on Windows, Android and iPhone — tested on all three
- use the learner portal in Arabic with a right-to-left layout — tested in the browser
- change text size and reading style in your settings
How accessible Equiva is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. Equiva has not yet been independently audited.
We know some parts are not yet fully accessible:
- [to be confirmed]
- [to be confirmed]
- Screen-reader labels and page structure have been checked by script, but not yet with a real screen reader such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver [to be confirmed].
- Some signed-in platform pages have not yet been fully tested. We expect to finish testing them by [to be confirmed].
Compliance status
Equiva is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because of the issues listed above.
