Cookie and storage notice
We are finalising this page. It will be reviewed by our legal adviser.
This page is in English. If you need help understanding it or want it in another format, contact privacy@equiva.io.
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) used on equiva.io and the Equiva platform. It is provided by Equiva Ltd; our details are in the privacy notice.
What we use
We only use storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for: keeping you signed in and keeping the service secure. The law does not require your consent for these, but it does require us to tell you about them. The service cannot work without them.
We checked this website and the signed-in platform on 27 October 2026 by scanning the pages in a browser. Public pages set no cookies and store nothing until you make a choice. The items below are everything we found, apart from Google’s sign-in cookies if you choose to sign in with Google.
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token (the … is our sign-in service’s ID) | Browser storage and a cookie | Equiva (via our sign-in service, Supabase) | Keeps you signed in to the platform | The sign-in token lasts 24 hours and is renewed automatically while you stay signed in. It is removed when you sign out. The cookie copy is deleted when you close the browser. |
| equiva-cookie-choice | Browser storage | Equiva | Remembers that you've seen this notice | Until you clear it |
| equiva-language | Browser storage | Equiva | Remembers a learner’s chosen language | Until you change or clear it |
| tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 | Session storage | Equiva | Remembers your scroll position when you move between pages | Deleted when you close the tab |
| Google sign-in cookies | Cookies | Only if you choose to sign in with Google | Set by Google: see Google’s cookie information |
What we do not use
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, pixels or similar technologies, and we do not allow third parties to track you on our website.
If we ever add analytics, we will update this notice first. We will either ask for your consent, or, where the law allows analytics without consent, tell you clearly and give you a simple, free way to opt out.
Managing storage
You can delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings at any time. If you do, you will be signed out and some settings will reset.
